Hello to all the WordPress haters out there! You all are plentiful and you provide me much entertainment. Thanks!
You seem to desperately pine for WordPress’ demise on a near-constant basis, chattering nonstop about how “WordPress is dead” and “if WP <blah blah blah’s> you’ll leave” …as if it’s existence is eating your brain.
WordPress isn’t eating your brain, but it sure is living in it rent free. 🙂
Publishing WordPress tabloids positions you to feel empowered when you otherwise do not. I get it, WordPress is a beast, you feel unable to move it forward yourself, and you don’t want to be in it’s shadow. You can band together and feel unified behind a cause.
But if WordPress were dead, you wouldn’t be talking about it, posting about it, or making a career of hating on it. Wait, sorry, advocating. And you definitely wouldn’t care what @matt does. Actually here’s a shout out, bc your advocating just boosts WordPress’ fame.

Not sure you drama queens are fooling anyone, though. You clearly need WordPress for your career, and you’re publicly obsessed with it.
If WordPress did die, what would you spend your time doing? Perhaps you’d finally get a chance to go outside and touch some grass?
You could grab a trac, hop into some meetings and put in effort where it actually would affect the direction of the software. You know this, but instead, you just keep doing what you’re doing. After all, it’s easiest to shoot for the lowest common denominator. And honestly, I think that suits you.
But don’t be down, y’all. My emotional support wapurr will get you through this difficult reality check.
