WordPress’ slogan is “Code is Poetry”. So its fitting that the Core Release Squad shares haikus at the end of every release post.
As a Release Coordinator (and poet) writing haikus for WordPress is one of my absolute favorite parts of working on a release. I do not use AI (like, at all). Everything I write is delivered to you directly from my 100% human brain. Including release posts. No filters.
Here are my WordPress haikus from the WordPress 6.9 and 7.0 release cycles, aka my little love notes to WordPress.
